🌾 Important Update: Naming Your Farm in CropBytes 🌾
Hey Farmers👩🌾,
We have an exciting announcement regarding an upcoming feature in CropBytes: the ability to give a unique name to your farm! We believe this will greatly enhance your farming experience and add a personal touch to your virtual agricultural journey.
Here are the key points:
1. Naming Your Farm: When you enter the app, a pop-up form will appear, prompting you to add a unique name for your farm. This will give you a sense of ownership and allow you to express your creativity. If you already have a unique name, this will not affect you.
2. Farm Name Permanence: Once you confirm your farm name, please note that it cannot be updated. Therefore, choose your farm name wisely and make it something that truly represents you and your farming aspirations.
3. Duplicate Farm Names: We understand that each farm name should be unique. If another user has already chosen the same farm name, you will receive an error message, and you'll need to come up with an alternative name. Incase of a duplicate, the one who named first will retain the name.
4. Unique Mill Names: Additionally, we have made changes to mill names. Previously, mill names were based on the first name and mill number. Now, mill names will be based on your farm name and mill number, ensuring a unique identity for each mill.
Keep an eye out for updates and notifications when the feature goes live! This will be rolled out in the next app release which will go in for review within 1-2 days.
